Hello! My name is Jason and I have been a pastor since 1994 serving churches in WI and IL. I had the privilege of serving in a church in Racine, WI for 7 years, 3 years of church planting in the Chicago area, and now almost 17 years at CrossWay Church, a multi-site church located outside of Milwaukee in Germantown, WI. I also serve as an adjunct professor at Bethel University. Besides leading in the church, I have had many experiences leading and speaking in camping ministry. There’s nothing better than camp food and non-stop sand volleyball.
I attended Anderson University in IN for my Bachelor’s degree, Trinity International University in IL for my Master’s degree, and Bethel University in MN for my Doctorate. I love learning, and attending school has been a great path to growing closer to Jesus. A good book, comfortable coffee shop, and a hot cup of coffee is like a little taste of heaven for me.
I am married to an amazing woman, Amy, for 24 years and we have 4 incredible sons. One of our great joys is taking adventurous family trips around the United States and the world. I enjoy watching sports, playing any game that has a winner, watching movies, and all things Marvel. One of the very powerful opportunities that God has given me is to travel around encouraging other pastors, teaching communication, and encouraging churches in transition.
My life verse is Psalm 19:14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.
